Bird Carving is fun!
The Yatsu Higata Nature Observation Center maintains the policy not to exibit stuffed birds because
many REAL wild birds gather in the Higata.
For this same reason, all bird models shown in the Center are "Bird Carvings".
And the Bird Carvings shown at the Center are made by the volunteer group "Carving Group". The carefully made
carvings are so real, they are used for education purposes.
