Origin of center volunteers "Visitor's Guide"

This is an individual participation activity in which volunteers respond one-on-one to each visitor. There is no leader. Talking to visitors will increase your interest in tidal flats rather than just looking back. Individual guidance is the basis for volunteer activities at the Observation Center.

Free participation for personal reasons

We will guide visitors according to our own time. It varies depending on the person who guides visitors, such as explanations of tidal flats, explanations of wild birds, answers to questions, and how to use binoculars and telescopes.

Participation in "Individual Visitor Guide Day" once a month

It will be held once a month according to the group's visit schedule. Occasionally, everyone will guide visitors through individual guidance that you do alone. We will share the fun of exchanging information and guidance by looking back. You will also receive ranger advice.

Participation for elementary school students

We also provide guidance to 4th grade students from all 16 schools in Narashino City, as well as information on elementary school students and kindergarten children in Funabashi City and other districts. In addition to observing, they will enjoy wild bird bingo games and picture drama shows.
